Healthy Date fudge bars



This is a great snack for the active lifestyle and impressive to hand out to others. These are not only healthy but also super delicious !!! easy to make and put together. 


Prep: 50 min 

Ingredients: 

200g marrie biscuits 
500g dates 
250 g butter.
1 egg 
2 tbsp honey 
120g brown sugar 
50 g walnuts.

Method:

 Melt butter on low heat and then add the brown sugar and stir until the sugar and butter merge together. Add egg and then stir on low heat for 5 minutes. Add honey and stir
.Add the dates (with no seeds) then stir the dates into the mixture and divide evenly then cook for 4 minutes. Add the marrie biscuits (crushed to medium sized pieces) and stir into the mixture. Mix in the wall nuts .butter a pan and spread the mixture evenly. Cool in the fridge for 1 and a half hour . Take it out and cut into medium sized bars.
